Interact Club volunteers at Oktoberfest 2010
Letter
from the President of the Interact Club of the Rotary Club of Winchester
As President of Interact for this year, I have been given the great opportunity of doing good in the community of the city of Winchester, contributing to the global society and, most importantly, leading others to do the same. This past year has been an amazing year for Interact and I strive to make this year even better as the club continues to grow.
Members from last year’s club have remained active in society throughout the summer, whether through Interact or other community groups. Already we are planning a series of events that many members will volunteer in, such as the Wright-Locke Farm fundraisers and the Rotary Club’s Oktoberfest in September. We will once again participate in the Polio Plunge, in the Town-wide Yard Sale and in many Rotary events. At the end of last year, this club began helping Wright-Locke Farm get back on its feet, with events such as the Clean-Up Days and the Spring Fling and this year we plan to continue to work with the Farm committee as much as possible.
I am very excited about this upcoming year and hope to make it a year to remember!
Sincerely,
Amanda Esteves
Winchester Interact Club President
