Rotary Club of Winchester

President's Letter

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Rotary Club of Winchester (MA) and to our web site.  I hope you will take a few minutes to explore our site and to learn more about Rotary International and the activities of our specific club.  We are one of more than 30,000 Rotary Clubs throughout the world with approximately 70 local men and women members committed to making our community and the world a better place to live.  We do this in several ways.  First, we raise money through various fundraising events during the year and distribute these funds to numerous organizations through financial grant requests.  Second, we seek opportunities to perform local service projects that will benefit individual groups or our community at large.  Finally, we provide financing and in some cases direct assistance in international projects and initiatives such as the eradication of polio.  At our weekly meetings we usually have great speakers discussing topics of interest or concern to our members.
