Winchester Honorable Paul Harris Award

The Winchester Rotary Club is pleased to announce the establishment of an annual Honorable Paul Harris Fellow Award. The award is to be bestowed upon a member of the Winchester community who is not currently a Rotarian. Winchester Rotary will continue to recognize and pay tribute to our members, and our organization intends to go outside our membership. We want your assistance in identifying an individual who has consistently demonstrated accomplishments deemed worthy of this recognition.

The Paul Harris Fellowship Award is one of the highest honors Rotary can give to an individual. In addition to the recipient recognition exemplifying the highest ideals that Rotary places in "SERVICE ABOVE SELF, "this award also includes a donation of $1,000 or more in the recipient's name to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, which supports Rotary's worldwide programs.

Yearly, the Winchester Rotary Club will announce the recipient's name at an award ceremony luncheon open to the community. It is our sincere hope that this event will be the beginning of an annual tradition in years to come.

- Involvement with humanitarian service activities and programs,

- active participation to help others and

- demonstrated personal volunteer efforts.
